What We Support
The Menlo Rotary Community Foundation was established in 1981 with $5,000. Through donations and careful stewardship, the Foundation has grown to nearly $4,000,000, and supports three endowments funds: Scholarships, Community Service, and International Projects.

Scholarships
Through the Foundation, the Rotary Club of Menlo Park annually provides need-based college scholarships to local students. We have a rigorous review process and as of June 2023 have awarded, to local students:
  • Over $2,800,000 in four-year scholarships since inception
  • Over $190,000 in community college scholarships since inception
  • Information on this year's scholars can be found here.

Community Service:  Gifts Committee for Local Grants
Annually the Foundation awards approximately $50,000 in grants to local non-profit groups to assist them in providing support to underserved groups in our local community.  Recent recipients included: StarVista Safe refuge, Ecumenical Hunger Program, Ravenswood Education Foundation, Ravenswood Family Health Network, Nuestra Casa de East Palo Alto, Menlo College Campus food pantry, Eastside Preparatory School: COVID-19 emergency fund, Menlo-Atherton High School: Student Support Services, LifeMoves and Onyxx Village Connection: via Streetcode Academy

International Projects
The newest endowment fund for the Foundation is for international projects.  The Foundation is holding fundraisers and taking donations for this fund, so that projects can be supported in the future. Please check back periodically for updates on International Projects.
