Plastics in the Environment

Motivated by love of the ocean, Tami Mulcahy serves as co-chair of EndPlasticSoup, the ESRAG (Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group) global initiative to end plastic pollution. Through in-depth, data driven presentations, Tami delivers eye opening realities of pervasive plastic in our lives and pragmatic solutions to UnLearn UnNecessary plastic.

Beyond what we see in the environment, plastic is an insidious creep on human health, particularly fetal and child development, and the health of all living things. From production to consumption, society and the planet bear massive invisible costs. Reduce. Rethink. Restore. Tami also serves as co-chair of the ESRAG Task Forces - to promote, empower and interconnect planet solutions in a One Health Approach to project development.
