We Need Your Help - Please Donate to the Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation

The Rotary Club of Menlo Park, through its non-profit charitable Foundation, is  increasing its financial commitment to community organizations by at least 30% in 2020.  This is due to the compelling needs related to COVID-19.

Our Giving: Comes from returns on our investment portfolio, proceeds from our Tour de Menlo Scholarship Bike Ride, and generous donations from Rotarians and local businesses.  In 2019, we gave $150,000 in scholarships and $52,000 in community grants.

The organizations we are helping in 2020 for needs relating to COVID-19 include:

  • All Students Matter
  • Ecumenical Hunger
  • Life Moves
  • Ravenswood Education Foundation
  • StarVista
  • St. Anthony's Dining Hall and Grocery Program
  • Meals on Wheels

An example of the help we provide is St. Anthony’s Dining Hall in Menlo Park. The demand for meals and groceries has doubled in one month. St. Anthony’s picks up bulk food and delivers it to their kitchen, where meals are prepared and groceries given to those in need. We purchased and installed a refrigeration system in their transport truck. Now St. Anthony’s foodstuffs stay fresh in transit and spoilage is eliminated.

We hope that you would be willing to make a tax-deductible donation to our charitable Foundation. Your donations go directly to local community non-profits - who are struggling with increased demand as a result of COVID-19. If, instead, you want your donation to go for college scholarships, please so designate.

Thank you for your help serving the critical needs of our local community.
