Direct Donations to the Menlo Rotary Community Foundation
In 1981, the Menlo Park Rotary Club established a 501(c)(3) Foundation - The Menlo Rotary Community Foundation. Initial funding was $5,000 and through donations and careful stewardship, the Foundation has grown to nearly $4,000,000, and supports three endowments funds: Scholarships, Community Service, and International Projects.
Donations to our Foundation are tax deductible.
Tour de Menlo Bike Ride - Scholarship Fundraiser
Each year the Menlo Park Rotary Club organizes a bike ride to raise funds for our student scholarships. The ride has three long courses approximately 35, 45, 60 miles and one 12 mile, family course. The raise includes rest stops with food and water and a lunch at the end. In addition to rider's fees, the ride has significant sponsorships.
Sponsor a Scholar
The Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation’s Sponsor a Scholar program allows our club to make a four-year $2,000 a year commitment to a local high school senior who will head to college in the fall. The total pledge of $8,000 over the course of 4 years can be made as an individual or as a team of up to four people.A 4-year pledge allows us to plan from year to year as we add new Rotary scholars.
Planned Giving
Honor your life or a loved one by endowing scholarship. An endowment is a perpetual gift to need-based college students by providing a payment annually toward their tuition and college expenses.
- The entire amount of your gift remains intact in perpetuity. Income from the endowment annually benefits the scholarship program
- An endowment can be named in your honor or for a loved one.
International Fund -
We are accepting donations in preparation for an international initiative.
