The Alchemy of Stories: Turning Conversations Into Gold

Marianne Neuwirth, PhD, is a dynamic Communication Consultant, Teacher, and Trainer with over 20 years of experience in the field. She earned her PhD and Masters in Communication, focusing on environmental communication, conflict resolution, and organizational socialization. In addition to cultivating others’ speaking competence, her nuanced skill in facilitating nonverbal gravitas stems from her Occupational Therapy and Anatomical Sciences background. Along with her work at Stanford, she founded and directed the Oral Communication Program at a local business college, taught at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, and worked with high-level business executives from Finland. Her other specialty areas include Persuasion, Storytelling and Leadership, and Advanced Conflict Resolution. She teaches seminars and workshops, and conducts 1:1 sessions to teach practical skills on listening and speaking with confidence, and on conveying intricate messages with clarity and heart.
