The International Trip that changed my Life

Melissa Prandi went on a Rotary international trip for H2OpenDoors while also delivering Save a Girl Hygiene Kits in Uganda. Melissa was so moved by the need to protect and help children and women in Uganda and her life was changed forever. Melissa went home to USA and founded The Melissa Prandi Children Foundation in partnership with Rotarian Ugandans.

The Melissa Prandi Children Foundation empowers impoverished communities in Uganda with educational opportunities, vocational training, microloans and donations of food and crucial supplies. Our mission is to give youth access to quality and higher education. With our “sponsor a student” program, our youth have become the first of their families to graduate from college! Our vocational training centers & microloans empower young women to be economically independent and stable.
