Building Professional Network for College Success
Jun. 19, 2019 6:00 p.m.
Join us for an evening with current/graduated scholarship students and representatives/mentors from a College Success networking group of organizations including Pursuit of Excellence, Sacred Heart Prep, Foundation for a College Education, College Track, Peninsula College Funds, and a few more. We are part of this College Success group that meets once a quarter to collaborate on supporting scholarship students in college and share resources to help one another. This group, especially Pursuit of Excellence, has contributed a lot to the success of our Rotary Mentoring Program.
The evening will begin with a 15-minute mini-workshop by Dylan Houle, Menlo College Director of Internships & Career Services, who will provide tips for the students to build networking skills and etiquette guidelines for professional events. This event will provide a great opportunity for the students to practice their networking skills in a friendly, low-stress environment.
$25 per person. Students are free. |

Join Us @ the Tour de Menlo 🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️ Scholarship ride! August 17, 2019 at Menlo-Atherton High School - www.tourdemenlo.com Tour de Menlo offers three Peninsula routes for cyclists of all abilities, along with good weather, great food, and plenty of SAG support for those who need it.
Riders have their choice of 35-, 46- and 65-mile routes, all well-marked and beginning at Menlo-Atherton High School. After taking different routes from the start, all riders eventually will head south on Stevens Canyon Road to the final rest stop at Madrone Park. Riders can rest and enjoy refreshments before heading back to Menlo Atherton High School for a relaxing lunch in the courtyard.
The ride is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation and the Almanac.
